Donna
My 57 year old wife has been in care for over four years, most of that time unable to speak, stand, walk, or do anything for herself. Before the pandemic, I would take her out in her wheelchair to gardens, cafés and sometimes home for tea. I could also cuddle her for comfort. All I can do now is try to get her attention from the window of her room, so difficult with reflections and traffic noise. Often she cannot locate me; other times she just sleeps.
