All the elderly imprisoned in care homes

My mother was in a care home. I used to visit her every day. We were not allowed to see her for months. Eventually we were able see her from afar for booked 20 minute slots twice a week. We had to wear masks. My mum couldn't hear very well anyway. She didn't understand why we stopped visiting. She chose to stop eating, talking or walking. When she saw us she would turn away from us as she was so distressed. Then she passed away of loneliness and misery
