My wife Tricia was diagnosed with Alzhiemers in 2009 and it had progressed to a point where it was becoming impossible to keep her at home with me and sadly she is now in a care home. We were married and together for 53 years and I am missing her beyond words and to such an extent that I am now wishing I hadn’t made the decision regarding care in a home, restrictions on being able to see her are cruel and have left me very depressed.
