John has mild vascular dementia but lockdown has been a good experience for us both. Neighbours have totally spoilt us and met our every need. He has a hobby that fills many hours. He plays a euphonium and has learnt how to transpose music he likes, mainly hymns, to the key he can play. When clapping for the nurses. He would play his euphonium outside our door and neighbours from all around and children came to join in. We have walked daily and have a local surgery that we can ring if worried.
