As an occupational therapist who works with pwd . At times I work with pwd in care homes usually when an assessment is asked for there may be a number of reasons for this from a referrer. For example cognition, mobility and reports of 'behaviour' that may be difficult for others. Most of the time this is due to the persons change in routines, environment, activities of daily living. However one of the most poignant changes is not being able to see family or a significant person in their life.
