My mum was diagnosed many years ago with both Alzheimer's and vascular dementia and had to go into care in 2015. I lost my mum but learned to love Alice who was so very different but special in her own way. Sadly mum is now bedridden and fragile. I was told many months ago she is at the 'end of life'. I last visited mum on 15 March. Missed seeing her on mothers day and her birthday. Not able to hold her hand or kiss her cheek breaks my heart. Does she miss me? I miss her 😢 I need to see her.
