My mum, Kath Slingsby
Wendy Edmundson, her daughter
I miss you mum. The last time we were together was just before lockdown when I arranged for Mother's Day to come to you with sandwiches, posh cakes and tea at the carehome. I hugged you but never thought it would be so long until I could hug you again. I hugged you when you broke your hip in lockdown. I visited you at the closed window whilst on the phone so you could see me. Can't even do that now. You don't understand why. It's heartbreaking. We are missing out on too much time together.
