The impact of coronavirus has been shattering for families affected by dementia. Urgent action must be taken to better protect people ahead of the winter.

I have shared before. Husband only 68yrs. At 59yrs Parkinson’s disease and Dementia at 65 yrs.I was is Only Carer for 9yrs. His Dementia. He was admitted to hospital on 23/03/20 with pneumonia. He his in a care home, he has deteriorated rapidly I have had a few garden visits and 3 garden visits. I can speak to him via FaceTime but he doesn’t always know me. I know if I was able to visit him he would not have deteriorated so quickly. My mental health has become a concern.
