Lockdown sucks! My mum recognised me before lockdown as I visited her twice a week but nothing prepared me for the lack of recognition and awkwardness from my mum on that first visit after 19 weeks. Fortunately, she does now recognise me but I am dreading going through the same non-recognisable visit when lockdown ends! I miss going through gardening magazines with her and seeing her face light up. Not able to Skype, WhatsApp or Zoom as mum does not understand the process. Heartbreaking!
