The ongoing, blatant cruelty being inflicted upon residents by banning visits over the last seven months is intolerable. The impact of this isolation is immense. My relative cannot communicate and deteriorates daily without the extra attention, love and care that only a loved one can give. No smiles, no laughter, since this inhumane sentence was passed, and with no parole in sight. Bewilderment, distress and sadness now have the place where some happiness had lived.
