My Mum Isobel
Mum has vascular dementia and despite our best efforts as a family to keep her at home & look after, she is now in residential care. We can only see her through her bedroom window at the home. She is lost, confused & frightened & on a bad day doesn't understand why my Dad who has passed away, won't talk to her. She gets upset and sobs and we can't get close to her to hold her hand & try to comfort her.
