My Mum

15/10/2020

My Mum is 79 and has been in a carehome for 2 yrs with dementia. Since lockdown, Ive seen her in total for the amount of time I would have seen her in one week -about 9 hrs - and if it continues the same way for another 6 months it will be 2 wks out of 52! This is a tragedy for her and me and the daily worry of how she is, is affecting my own health, whilst she has aged at least 10 yrs. When I ask if shes happy she quietly says 'no not really' and its so distressing as I cant comfort her
