Dad has had mixed dementia and has been in a care home for the last several years He was really poorly in May with sepsis and was in hospital for 4 weeks, we were allowed to visit once to say our goodbyes. He has pulled through and is now back at his care home, we have had a few visits but the home shut to visitors again end of August! We don't know how long Dad has left and it's absolutely heartbreaking that we can't visit him, especially for Mom as they have been married for 65 years.
