Dad had been Mums main carer for 5 years. He showed signs of dementia 3 years ago but refused to be tested. The isolation escalated his Dementia he rang me and said I don’t know what I’m doing. None of my sisters had been checking on my parents they had kept away. I arrived I live 50 miles away to find the bungalow in a mess Dad just wasn’t coping he wasn't feeding them properly as he had forgotten how to cook a meal and make a coffee. They both looked terrible and had aged rapidly.
