The impact of coronavirus has been shattering for families affected by dementia. Urgent action must be taken to better protect people ahead of the winter.

Thank God my husband was called just before the covid. No one was left unaffected by the lockdown but most of the victims had dementia or were in homes. I was keenly aware of what was going on being so recently bereaved. I empathised with the victims and their families. The stories were hearbreaking.
